We never say no to a destination wedding! This particular one took place in the vibrant Mexico City where every corner is full of history and architectural beauty which definitely helped us capture incredible photos of Summer and John.

The setting – Proyecto Publico PRIM – provided a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. The neutral tones of the space were complimented by the lush greenery of exotic plants throughout the space. It made us feel more like we were in a tropical oasis than a city.

The bride wore a beautiful gown by dress designer Berta and a veil that was fit for a princess. Her bridesmaids dressed in hues of pinks and oranges, typical Mexican colors that stood out from the crowd without upstaging the Bride. On the other side, the Groom donned a Ralph Lauren tuxedo that we’re sure made him feel like suave Gael Garcia Bernal.

At the ceremony, the Bride walked down the aisle that was completely covered in all white flowers as was the huppa where they said their vows and ‘smashed the glass’ as part of the Jewish tradition. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family on this beautiful day.

After this, it was time to head to the reception. The decor featured hanging vines from the ceiling with orange, yellow, and pink blooms and tables were decorated with center pieces to match. Table settings had a bit of an art deco feel and featured soft gold geometric designs.

The colors scheme of this wedding was the true star of the show. Although the colors of this wedding sound loud in our description, we couldn’t help but notice how subtle and beautiful they looked against the neutral background of the venue. Don’t be afraid to play with color especially if your wedding is in a city that was built on being vibrant like Mexico City.
