We love when clients put 100% into styling their engagement shoot. Bianca quickly got us excited about the shoot. We got together one evening at the studio and bounced ideas off of each other. At the end Bianca and Carlos decided on doing their shoot at the historical Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The backdrop is so elegant and grand mixed with Bianca’s choice of dress the first half of the shoot turned out looking like a romantic garden shoot. After a quick outfit change we laid out a picnic. Bianca brought lots of details along with macaroons and champagne to make sure the picnic was picture perfect. At the end the shoot had two different looks but both gave off that whimsical romantic look that the couple envisioned. These two wed later this year and we have a feeling the wedding is going to be amazing!

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a historical landmark that built in the early 1900s as a private winter home for the American businessman James Deering. Now it is one of the most sought after wedding venues in the United States. The venue attracts brides from around the world, for obvious reasons. Imagine a historic Italian estate surrounded by Miami’s lush subtropical landscape and beautiful oceans. Paloma and Michael chose Vizcaya for their wedding. This New York/New Jersey couple fell in love with the venue and planned their destination wedding with Wedding planner Nathalie Merle of Solea Events. Together they designed a classic and elegant wedding. The wedding day was special to us. We were blessed to document the wedding day in the most dramatic lighting. Miami typically greets us with bright sun, but on this particular day there was a mood in the sky, transforming Vizcaya. Any photographer/videographer would agree that lighting is everything, and we definitely caught something special through our lenses. Scroll down and see for yourself.
