Ah, Springtime and flowers. The perfect duo. Stephanie and Osmani wanted a field of flowers, and in Florida all we found were orange groves. Stephanie began researching and found Carlsbad Flower Fields in San Diego California. Without hesitation, we jumped on a plane. Pinch me! We felt like we were in a dream. There are nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the flower fields, blooming for only six to eight weeks each year. How lucky are we? Being as though we were in California, we couldn’t let the opportunity pass us by to shoot at another location. What better than the beautiful cliff-side beach of La Jolla. We were in awe of the stunning views we came across the second we stepped foot onto the sand. The rocks in the surrounding waters were filled with sea lions and seals. The waves were crashing thunderously against the cliff-side, creating a harmonic sound. The sunset came quickly, and we were able to create moody imagery. We did not want to stop shooting. We can’t wait to go back to California! Thank you to Stephanie and Osmani for taking us on this journey with them.

Christy and Mark’s engagement session was oh so romantic. A lace dress, a tuxedo and some classic novels made the whole shoot seem like a modern but vintage romantic film. The location we chose matched the couple. Vizcaya is dramatic and grand a location that would fit into a classic novel like Pride and Prejudice. […]
