Ah, Springtime and flowers. The perfect duo. Stephanie and Osmani wanted a field of flowers, and in Florida all we found were orange groves. Stephanie began researching and found Carlsbad Flower Fields in San Diego California. Without hesitation, we jumped on a plane. Pinch me! We felt like we were in a dream. There are nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the flower fields, blooming for only six to eight weeks each year. How lucky are we? Being as though we were in California, we couldn’t let the opportunity pass us by to shoot at another location. What better than the beautiful cliff-side beach of La Jolla. We were in awe of the stunning views we came across the second we stepped foot onto the sand. The rocks in the surrounding waters were filled with sea lions and seals. The waves were crashing thunderously against the cliff-side, creating a harmonic sound. The sunset came quickly, and we were able to create moody imagery. We did not want to stop shooting. We can’t wait to go back to California! Thank you to Stephanie and Osmani for taking us on this journey with them.

Most people have mixed feeling about doing there engagement session at Matheson Hammocks Park. Celynne and Michael’s engagement session proved that this park can be timeless and natural. My favorite part of this park is how the sun light shines through the trees and spanish moss that hang down from the tree limbs, so dreamy. Celynne also chose outfits that matched with both areas of the park. What’s your favorite spot, beach or forest?

Being from New Jersey, Jamie + Micheal wanted a true beach session. After planning for a few weeks, and hoping the unusually rainy weather would go away, it finally cleared up enough for us to head to the beach. Seeing them together is the cutest thing ever. Their chemistry is undeniable. The way he looks […]

When we first mention the beach as a location option to our wedding clients, they all shutter at the thought. Images of couples drawing hearts in the sands, and jeans rolled up with white matching shirts come to their minds. I have to try so hard to educate them that it’s not the location of […]
