There is so much to love about Sisi and John’s wedding. Not only was there an amazing feeling of happiness throughout the entire day, but the look of the wedding was so perfectly executed. You can break this wedding apart and love every single detail individually. However, when you see how everything came together, it seemed to be something straight out of a book. “Island Style” by India Hicks was the inspiration. A close family friend brought “Island Style” to Sisi’s attention, and she immediately fell in love. The invitation, the florals, and even a home-made chandelier (made by the Father of the Bride!!) for the reception pulled together this gorgeous wedding inspo. Sisi has three brothers and a handy dad, plus a very creative DIY queen as a mom, the wedding was full of custom details. It seems fitting to think this is what made this wedding so special, however we know florals and decor don’t make a wedding a great wedding. It’s all about the people! This couple surrounds themselves with amazing people (400 amazing people!). The whole day was a celebration. The groom and bridal party took a UM bus to the ceremony and stopped for some shots at Shula’s before getting there. The couple and their closest 50 friends and family walked from the church to the reception house with a full blown Spanish style marching band. The reception was a party from the beginning. Sisi and John danced the entire night. It was definitely a night to remember!
