Oh how I love thee! Let me count the ways… LOL… Seriously we love love love this wedding. We are so obsessed with it that we have chosen it to be a studio sample. Starting with the obvious, the colors and traditions of an Indian wedding are so rich and complete eye candy for a photographer. Although this was a modern Indian wedding, it involved traditions and rituals tailored by the couple and their families. The floral garlands, the colorful and textured gifts that were exchanged, the prayers, the offerings; it all made for a beautiful ceremony. The reception was filled with music and food that even made our nose smile. No one can argue about how beautiful an Indian wedding is, but at the end of the night the photographs we captured are full of love and happiness because of the people that were in them. Krupa and Varun are a lively and energetic couple. Even a rain storm on their outside wedding reception could not affect their happiness. The rain really came down, but it’s effect was minimal in our eyes. What vividly stands out are not the puddles of water, but the jumping on the dance floor. The dance floor did not calm until the music was turned off, and that in my opinion is a perfect way to end a wedding.
