Margaux and Ben’s wedding was full of Florida charm, dreamy details, and authentic moments. The lovebirds are history buffs with a desire for incorporating stories of the ones before them into their special day. They were inspired by the Bonnet House’s history and drew inspiration from Evelyn Lilly, the quirky socialite who shaped Bonnet House into what it is today. Bonnet House is a hidden treasure tucked inside a canopy of trees amidst the craziness of Ft. Lauderdale beach. Eccentric circus decor complimented the lush gardens perfectly, providing the perfect pops of color for their outdoor ceremony and reception.
The two played off the charm of the venue and added their own personal touches, with florals and decor. The outdoor ceremony provided the perfect opportunity for their guests to soak in the sun! Once the pair said their “I-do’s,” we headed towards the reception. Petal Productions always has us marveling at their talent. The sunset-hued florals made us feel like we were stepping into a garden! For her reception outfit, Margaux re-created her late grandmother’s headpiece that she wore at her wedding, honoring the woman that influenced her so greatly. As we danced the night away, we couldn’t help but get misty-eyed at all the sentiment incorporated into their beautiful wedding Margaux and Ben’s wedding was the epitome of taste and style, with sentimental touches of South Florida’s history adding a deeper meaning to the day.
